Electric oil pumps
Electric – Oil pump is running continuously.
- Causes: Pump is sucking air on the suction line.
- Remedy: Remove suction pipe, clean and put on new sealing tape.
Electric – Oil pump does not build up pressure.
- Causes: Air inside the unit.
- Remedy: Remove oil gun from pressure hose. Hold hose into barrel and turn on until the oil will be delivered.
The oil foams when tapping oil.
- Causes: Suction line is leaking.
- Remedy: Re-seal suction line with sealing tape.
Electric – Oil pump (23319) turns on and off in pulses.
- Causes: Oil temperature has changed, e.g. through heat or coldness. Customer is using thicker or thiner oil.
- Remedy: Adjust the bypass. Call customer service. A instruction for adjustments will be faxed to the customer.
